Short Line

“Knitty Footsteps” – first Saturday of each month, 2pm-4pm. 6 April, 4 May, 1 June, 6 July at Global Footsteps, 16 Portland St. A chance to knit, or learn to knit. all welcome

APRIL

Wed 10th. A "Techie Tour" of Global Footsteps green energy systems. How does a Heat Pump work? How does sunlight get turned into electricity? And how do you control these systems to get best value from them? 7:30pm 16 Portland St.

Wednesday 10th 7.30pm: Bring along some sewing or knitting etc., and any ideas for new projects for the group. At "Garlands", 34 Cudnall Street, Charlton Kings GL53 8HG.

11th & 16th - Vision-21 Grow Your Own workshops, Tewkesbury & Gloucester

Saturday 27th 10am-4pm: Vision21 Summer Fair Come along and chat to us at the Transition stall, or contact us if you can spare some time to help on the stall on the day. At Cheltenham Town Hall

31 May-1 June - Yelders Meeting - "an informal 24-hour facilitated get-together in which we explore the dynamics of collaboration between elders and young people as we navigate the transition into a post-carbon world" Edge, Nr. Stroud, Glos. Contact Isabel

COMING SOON

A banquet of "Foraged and Inexpensive food" for 50 people where the total cost of the 3 course meal will be £1 per head. We will also ask for donations for a charity which raises awareness of poverty.

Donations always welcome, especially at free events.
